What is Sheryan?
Sheryan is the Dubai Health Authority's own licensing system, and it is where a DHA application lives from start to finish: your profile, your documents, your assessment result and eventually your registration. You hold the account yourself.
What are the stages of a DHA application?
In broad terms: an initial assessment of whether your profile fits a category, primary source verification of your documents, the DHA assessment where your category requires one, then registration and an eligibility letter, and finally activation by the facility that hires you.
Does every applicant have to sit the DHA exam?
Not necessarily. Whether an assessment is required depends on your category, your qualification and in some cases where you have already practised. Some applicants are exempted. This is decided by the authority against your file, which is why the category question matters so much.
Do I need a job in Dubai before I apply?
No. You can complete verification and the assessment and hold an eligibility letter without an employer. What needs the employer is the final activation, where the hiring facility puts the licence live against your role.
Is a DHA licence valid in Abu Dhabi or the Northern Emirates?
No. The UAE has separate regulators: DHA for Dubai, the Department of Health for Abu Dhabi, and the Ministry of Health and Prevention for the Northern Emirates. Moving between them means a fresh application to the receiving authority.
How long does DHA exam preparation take?
Most candidates complete DHA preparation with us in 4–8 weeks, depending on how much time they can give each week and how recently they qualified. Classes run online & offline, so you can prepare while working.
Can I prepare for DHA in Malayalam?
Yes. We teach in English, Malayalam, Hindi and Tamil. Many candidates follow the concepts in their own language and practise the exam itself in English, which is how the paper is set.
Do you handle Dataflow for DHA?
Yes. Dataflow primary source verification is part of the licensing process for Dubai, UAE, and we prepare and follow up the whole application for you, including chasing your college and previous employers where needed.
What documents will I need for DHA?
Typically your degree or diploma certificates, transcripts, registration certificate from your nursing or paramedical council, experience certificates, passport and photographs. Requirements change from time to time, so we check your specific file before you apply rather than working from a generic list.
Can I take DHA coaching online from outside Kerala?
Yes. Our online and recorded classes cover the same material as the classroom batches, so candidates working in other states or already abroad follow the same course.
What documents do I need to get started?
A typical file is: your degree or diploma certificate, mark lists or transcripts for every year, your internship or course completion certificate, your council registration certificate, an experience certificate from each employer, your passport, and recent photographs. Some authorities also ask for a certificate of good standing. Send us what you have and we will tell you what is missing before anything is submitted.
The name on my certificates does not exactly match my passport. Is that a problem?
It is the single most common field-level problem we see. Passports often carry an expanded middle name or a surname that the college recorded as an initial, and verification treats the two as different people. It is fixable, usually with an affidavit or a name-equivalence document, but it has to be dealt with before submission rather than after a report comes back queried.
My name changed after marriage. Which name do I apply in?
Apply in the name on your passport, and supply the marriage certificate or name-change deed that links it to the name on your certificates. Your college and your first employer will still hold you under your earlier name, which is exactly what verification will find, so the linking document is what keeps the file clean.
